Murray’s Farm is dedicated to ethical and environmentally friendly farming practices. Our emphasis is on how our animals are raised, what they eat, and how they live. Animals who live stress-free lives simply taste better. In addition, we try to use the entire animal, produce as little waste as possible, and respect the lives that sustain us.
The Heritage Eggs® produced by Murray’s Farm come from carefree hens who roam the yard searching, pecking and scratching. The heritage hens and fowl we raise are happy, healthy, and pastured.
Murray Thumberg, owner of Murray’s Farm is the only farmer in Canada that has registered herds of Herefords, British Saddlebacks, and Gloucestershire Old Spot. He is also raising Berkshires and Tamworths. Murray is a pork producer from nose-to-tail. On-demand, he also offers to sell full and half animals.
